IELTS Essay Task 2 SamplesThere are two different essay task 2 samples that you can study. The first one is one that is created for the British Council. This means that it has been test-tested and can be used by native English speakers.So, what are the main differences between the two? Well, first of all, in English, unlike other languages, the verb 'to be' is not used too much. Using the words 'be'be' will leave your native speaker with a huge amount of leeway. If you are writing English on an exam, then I would recommend you use the IELTS essay task 2 sample that gives you lots of examples of verb tenses that you can use.It's important to remember that every language uses this tense differently. In the essay task 2 sample that I mentioned above, it does not use the 'to be' verb very often. However, there are lots of other examples in the sample to show that it does use the 'to be' verb.One thing that English does use a lot more of than any other language is the 'to be' subject mark er. You will notice that most 'to be' verbs in the English language are in the future tense. It's important to get the most from your IELTS essay task 2 sample and therefore use a future tense version.It is also possible to use the 'to be' subject marker with the IELTS essay task 1 sample. This is not necessarily true with the BOC sample.If you study these two different essay task 2 samples, you will find that one might suit you better than the other. The primary differences will be in the verbs and tense. The second sample also contains many other features that are not in the first one.In my opinion, it is probably easier to prepare for an essay task if you take all of the available free samples into account. If you want to study the essay task in a certain way, then do so.However, I have found that IELTS test taking is an entirely different ball game. There are too many things that you have to remember when taking an essay test.
